This role is available part-time, between 25 – 30 hours per week, and can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia.

As an Accountant/Finance Officer at Candella, you will:

- Manage day-to-day financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.

- Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing support and guidance on financial matters.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely financial reporting, facilitating informed decision-making by the board and leadership team.

- Collaborate with auditors for annual audits, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout the process.

- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes, contributing to Candella's overall success.

To excel in this role, you will need:

- Prior experience in a finance or payroll-related role, preferably within a not-for-profit organisation.

- Proficiency in financial management systems such as Xero, coupled with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
