Company: A dynamic and innovative Food and Beverage Services, Hospitality company, is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. Role: As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with month-end accounts, tax compliance, and bookkeeping tasks. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities: Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements for management and statutory purposes. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain an accurate fixed assets register. Ensure correct coding of all expense and revenue lines. Prepare accurate company journal entries and credit card reconciliations. Reconcile daily sales banking and report discrepancies. Handle voucher invoicing and send accurate sales data to landlords. Respond to financial inquiries and gather/interpret data as needed. Perform any ad-hoc activities as requested. Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.

Experience: Experience in a similar position. Technically proficient with Excel skills. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Previous experience in food service, FMCG or retail is preferred but not required.
