About the Role: Are you ready to take on a leading role in data engineering with a focus on leveraging the Databricks platform? We're looking for a seasoned Lead Data Engineer to help one of our clients derive maximum value from their data. This role involves a mix of hands-on work and strategic oversight, help one of our clients derive maximum value from their data, ranging from constructing entire data platforms and developing data pipelines, to shaping data architecture and strategy.

Key Responsibilities: Define the technical direction for data projects while mentoring team members. Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders. Design and articulate clear architectural solutions that meet project goals. Advise on enterprise cloud solutions, focusing on network security and access control. Represent our company within the data engineering community, contributing to conferences and meetups. Innovate and develop new Databricks consulting and solution offerings to meet emerging market needs. Engage in pre-sales discussions, providing technical expertise in the early stages of project planning. Establish yourself as a reliable source of informed and professional advice on solution options for our clients.

We're Looking For Someone With: Proven experience leading end-to-end data projects in complex enterprise settings. A background in reputable consulting firms with a focus on technology and data. In-depth knowledge of data engineering, especially with Databricks and Spark. Experience in a cloud-based environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with strong skills in SQL and/or Python. Ability to design and present complex data architectures to stakeholders. Experience in mentoring and upskilling team members. A continuous learner, eager to stay updated with modern technologies and certifications. A deep-rooted passion for the data community.
