My client is a very well-established and prominent asset-based business, who are on the lookout for a Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will take part in the following; Assist to prepare annual financial statements and liaise with Auditors. Complete a range of accounting tasks that include month-end close, GL recs, chart of accounts maintenance and capitalisation of assets as well as preparation of journals and trial balance

Coordinate the stores & inventories subsidiary ledger. Maintain and update relevant systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of data sets, protocols and controls. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and legislative practices. Ad-hoc process improvement measures. To be considered for this role will have complete (or are part-way through) CA/CPA qualifications with at least 3+ years in a month-end accounting role, ideally for a business of med-to-large size and complexity
