ING Australia are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager! The Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager provides data driven and comprehensive analysis of the credit and financial performance of variance segments within the mortgage portfolio, identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth to improve customer and commercial outcomes. You will have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and achieve sustainable, optimised growth for ING Australia. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of credit risk management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be asked to solve a broad range of problems supported by data driven insights and have freedom in how you design solutions. You will have ownership of your work including writing proposals, engaging stakeholders and seeking approval from senior leaders.

What You’ll Do Prepare (in conjunction with the Senior Credit Policy Manager) detailed credit proposals and present findings to internal stakeholders, including senior management and credit committees. Collaborate with our distribution teams to understand client needs, identify potential risks, and structure appropriate credit solutions. Monitor and review the mortgage credit portfolio, identifying emerging risks and recommending proactive measures to mitigate potential losses.

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to inform credit risk assessments and enhance risk management strategies.

What We’re Looking For Broad level of credit knowledge and experience (5+  years) in credit analysis within a financial institution, with a focus on commercial or corporate lending. Strong understanding of financial statements, credit metrics, and risk assessment methodologies. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
