Roles and Responsibilities: 6+ years of relevant experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role. Expertise & hands-on experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO). Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models (DDBoost & networker skills are desirable). Expert knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR). Strong experience with Windows servers, including Active Directory. Ability to think outside the box and drive automation ideas. Automation skills & DevOps tool sets (Powershell, Chef, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jira, and Terraform). Sense of ownership. Critical thinker with problem-solving skills. Team player. Good time-management skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Banking domain knowledge is desirable. MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications are a plus.

Essential: tertiary qualification in IT, computer science, or a related discipline.

Preferred: Knowledge on Cloud, Automation & DevOps technologies. 

Additional Skills: Excellent customer-interfacing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
