Service Engineer, Machine Tools, All Manufacturing Personnel. Sydney NSW. Technicians (Trades & Services). Full time. $100k+ package.

The Company: My client, established for over 100 years, is a well-respected major player in the supply and support of machine tools, specialised automation systems and ancillary equipment for the manufacturing industry. Based in Sydney’s west with branches country wide, this well-respected, innovative and dynamic company is seeking to expand their highly specialised service and support team with an equally dynamic, hands-on Service Engineer.

The Role: This is a multi-faceted role encompassing minor breakdown service to full machine overhauls, installations, commissioning and training, as well as custom design builds and bespoke modifications. Activities will include diagnostics and repair of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment and machinery components.  

The Criteria: Ideally, the person we are looking for will possess both mechanical and electrical qualifications. In addition, requirements to be successful in this role are...

Demonstrated ability in servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical and/or CNC machinery and equipment. Experience in installation and commissioning of equipment. Experience in mechatronic systems, fault finding, and troubleshooting. Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics. A self-motivated individual who works efficiently as an individual and as part of a team. Be task-oriented and flexible. Possess good people and communication skills as you will be representing your company in the field.

A valid and current NSW drivers license. While the above criteria is optimum, we will also consider a recent graduate of exceptional standing that is ‘trainable’ and has the drive and determination to advance their knowledge and be successful in the role.
