Power Down Under is on the hunt for a new service locator to join the team. PDU is an electrical contracting company based in the northern suburbs of Perth. We have a service-locating team who are so busy that we need an extra pair of hands! We are looking for someone with: Ability to locate underground services using a GPR and Vivax locator. Ability to use a small vacuum truck for potholes and installing markers. Experience in onsite supervision pertaining to excavation and backfilling of buried assets, shoring boxes, and horizontal directional drilling. And basic knowledge of construction industry practices. Ability to read construction and underground service plans. Ability to use iPad/PC apps for paperwork.

Here’s what we need from you: Ideally, you will already be an approved HP Locator for ATCO. Hold a current driver’s license. Hold a white construction card. Be able to work effectively unsupervised. Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is delivered to a high standard. Have great people skills with your coworkers and clients. Understand and value work, health, and safety standards.
