We're seeking a dynamic and experienced store manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our new restaurant. This is a great opportunity to manage a high-profile brand's Australian launch. Anticipated opening in 2025.
About the Role: As the restaurant manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, from customer service to staff management.
Key Responsibilities: Planning menus in consultation with chefs. Planning and organizing special functions. Managing purchasing and pricing of goods. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions. Ensuring compliance with health regulations. Conferring with customers to assess satisfaction. Selecting, training, and supervising staff.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a cafe or restaurant manager (minimum 3 years preferred). Formal qualifications in hospitality management (AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma, or equivalent) are desirable. Relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Sound financial management skills. Knowledge of Indian cuisine and restaurant operations.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum (depending on experience)
