We are currently looking for a results-driven, self-motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Authoring technical requirements documents for software applications and components
• Authoring software architectural and design documents
• Implementing software applications and components
• Unit testing of software applications and components
• Contribution to toolset, style and coding standards
• Coaching skillset transition
• Directed research
• Prototyping
Position Qualifications:
Required Experience:
• Eight or more years of software development experience including:
◦ Four or more years of Java EE development
◦ Four or more years of working with RDBMS; such as SQL Server
◦ Four or more years of working with Hibernate, Spring or similar JPA framework
◦ Four or more years with SOA
◦ Four or more years with Message Orientated Middleware
◦ Four or more years of Open Source, Linux hosted, application servers
• Specific experience with:
◦ RESTful Services
◦ NoSQL experience such as MongoDB
◦ MVC
◦ XML
◦ Authentication, Authorization, and SSO
◦ Localization / Internationalization
◦ Multi-threaded applications
◦ Data retrieval performance tuning
• Design-related:
◦ Significant experience designing and working with n-tier architectures
◦ Familiarity with UML or other modeling languages
• Process-related:
◦ Advanced source control techniques
◦ Unit testing & code review
◦ Automated build management
◦ Documentation
◦ Change and risk management
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• BS in electrical engineering or computer science
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
