Your new role: Preparing and submitting precise customs documentation and declarations in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Liaising with customs officials, DAFF, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and other parties to address customs and DAFF-related concerns.

Offering specialized advice and expertise to clients regarding customs laws, tariff classifications, and duty obligations. Keeping thorough records and guaranteeing all required paperwork is organized and easily accessible. Staying informed about updates to customs regulations, laws, and policies to maintain compliance standards. Working alongside the logistics team to streamline customs clearance procedures and enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed: Proven experience as a customs broker with DAFF accreditation. Thorough understanding of customs laws, regulations, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice to clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex customs requirements. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
