Employment Type: Ongoing (1 role). Location: Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available across NSW, with some travel to Sydney metro locations required from time to time (negotiable)

Grade: Clerk Grade 9/10

Salary Range: $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. base salary dependent on experience, plus 11.5% superannuation.

The opportunity: We are now inviting applications for the opportunity of Senior Platform Officer for Government Technology Platforms, within Digital NSW as it transforms to become the state's trusted partner to enable accessible and secure digital platforms and services for the citizens and business of NSW.

In this role you will manage all aspects of the 'run' capability for internal Atlassian tools and systems used within GTP. You will coordinate and provide governance for third parties providing technical support.

Day to Day Responsibilities: Manage release roadmap across Jira, JSM and Confluence platforms. Liaise with Atlassian to ensure features and functionality are utilised. Work with Atlassian to ensure that the platforms are available and accessible. Maintain the sandbox environments for pre-production releases. Act as an escalation resource for technical incidents that relate to platform functionality. Continuously extend improve Jira, JSM and Confluence the platform functionality by extending the customer portals, delivering new integrations and developing new automations as required by operational and product teams. Liaise with other operational teams to ensure authentication, authorisation and resource access to the platforms is appropriately managed.

What you will bring to this role Demonstrated experience in the configuration, integration, and ongoing management of toolsets including Atlassian's Jira Service Management (IT Service Management module), Jira, and Confluence. Demonstrated experience in the identification and implementation of process improvement within systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of the functions within Service Management and their general objectives

Demonstrated experience in collaborating with stakeholders and technology leaders to ensure operational requirements are met.

Overseeing infrastructure and support systems to align with Enterprise and Cyber security architecture requirements. Experience in defining and monitoring compliance, while proactively identifying and escalating performance issues to ensure business continuity and that agreed service levels are met. Experience with the creation and delivery of training material for end users. Willingness to train, coach, and mentor other team members. Key knowledge and experience. Extensive knowledge and experience in ICT infrastructure and applications.
