About the role

We’re seeking a driven and results-oriented business development manager (BDM) to join our sales team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the company’s ongoing growth and success.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, showcasing our products and services to expand market reach and maximize revenue.

Key responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying ways to support and grow their business.

Actively promote the company's brand, products, and services to prospective clients.

Deliver compelling presentations to individuals and groups, in person and virtually.

Develop and implement strategic plans to meet sales and compliance targets.

Collaborate with internal departments to tailor client solutions.

Stay up to date with industry trends and developments.

Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards. 

About You

You’re a natural communicator who thrives on building relationships and turning opportunities into results. You’re confident, proactive, and love the challenge of growing something meaningful. Whether you're already in a business development role or come from a B2B/customer-facing background (like automotive, insurance, or service industries), you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values initiative, collaboration, and long-term success.

Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or a similar role.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.

Confident presenting to both individuals and small groups.

Comfortable using digital devices and basic software applications.

Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Hold a registered motor vehicle with minimum CTP insurance and a valid Australian open driver’s license. 

What We Offer

$70k base salary + $17k motor vehicle allowance per annum

8.5% commission upon achievement of threshold (with guaranteed commission for your first 3 months).

11.5% superannuation

Annual bonus eligibility after successful probation

Supplied device (laptop or tablet) and mobile phone

Annual paid trip to Queensland for our Sales Conference (includes flights, accommodation, and amenities—spouses/partners welcome and covered)
