About the Role
We are in an exciting phase of growth, and this is a great opportunity for an experienced recruitment specialist to join us and help us build our team!
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this role will work closely with various teams across the organization to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from requirement gathering to onboarding.
You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that we continue to attract and recruit top talent that will help us achieve our organizational goals.
This is a 6-month fixed-term position, based in our Sydney campus
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including creating and maintaining position descriptions, posting job ads, obtaining offer approvals, and issuing employment agreements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with managers to discuss qualifications, skills, and suitability of candidates.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize social media and other platforms to advertise vacancies and identify candidates.
Building Candidate Relationships: Actively build candidate relationships and network for passive recruitment as well as maintain a pipeline of passive candidates for future opportunities.
Shortlisting and Interviewing: Conduct interviews, phone calls, and meetings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
Recruitment Administration: Maintain detailed candidate profiles in recruitment software, ensuring progress, feedback, and qualifications are updated.
Reporting: Produce weekly tracking reports for recruitment activities.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in recruitment with a strong track record of successful candidate placements
Experience in the education sector is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of Australian employment laws and recruitment best practices.
Experience using recruitment software (Martian Logic or similar) and HRIS systems (ELMO or similar)
Ability to work with stakeholders across different level
Ability to work on multiple priorities and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Office 365
