Import Coordinator—We are currently recruiting for an experienced import coordinator to join our fantastic client based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane for a permanent position.

Your new company 

Our client is a leading freight forwarder, specializing in sea cargo. Due to growth and expansion with the company, they are looking to add a new member to their team.

Tasks will include:

Coordinating the movement of import shipments while collaborating with overseas partners, service providers, & external customs brokers

LCL & FCL Shipments

Tracking vessels and liaising with shipping lines and consolidators for arrival notices, outturn reports, etc.

Updating clients on inbound shipments

FCL & LCL cartage co-ordination

Customer Service Responsibilities

Checking & collating import documentation

Skills and experience:

International freight forwarding experience , minimum 2+ years

Excellent customer service skills with a genuine care factor

Willing and able to demonstrate initiative

Ability to problem solve under pressure

High attention to to detail

Clear written & oral communication
