Join a well-established, national, high-profile Company in the building and construction industry who continue to develop and distribute innovative quality building products and solutions to various customers segments (Residential and Home Improvement, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, Retail). Manufacturing and processing to order, the Company offers a range of quality building products, systems and solutions (including supply and fit) as well as providing technical design support to help meet their customers’ varied needs.
Reporting to the State Manager, and working as a key sales team member, your role will be focused on promoting the company’s Residential building roofing panel products and engineered systems which are used in various applications in the marketplace to specifically including the Residential Roofing specialist and home improvement sector. Thus, you will primarily develop relationships with Roofing Trade Contractors and Builders who specialize in roof construction, but also continue to grow the company’s product offering in other areas which will entail liaising with Engineers, Designers, Government to Local Councils etc. You will have a set sales budget and KPI’s to achieve in these dual markets to and be responsible for “growing” key accounts, maintaining and increasing sales and market share including sourcing new business. Your role includes relationship management, solving problems, providing general technical support, following up all leads, quoting, and maximising all sales and business opportunities in the State. You will be supported by an internal sales and administration team, and liaise closely with, estimating, construction and production colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have a proven and successful sales background in selling: Technical residential building products and / or systems [such as roofing, panels, walling / ceiling, facade products] to Builders and Specialised Trade Contractors in particular within the Residential Roofing sector, achieved company sales objectives, demonstrated providing sound technical building and construction knowledge, excellent problem solving skills, strong communication, presentation, relationship building and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, commercial nouse, and resilience. IT literate, you will be proactive and results oriented and enjoy working in a team environment.
