About the role:

Lead the operational and clinical management of the maternity unit and outreach services.

Ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, woman-centred care across all stages of pregnancy.

Drive clinical governance and quality improvement to maintain the highest standards of safety.

Act as a mentor and clinical expert, supporting staff toward endorsed midwife status.

Manage unit resources, including workforce planning and fiscal responsibilities.

Foster a culture of cultural safety and health equity within the midwifery team.

About you:

You are a Registered Midwife with current AHPRA registration.

You hold a relevant postgraduate qualification or are actively working toward one.

You bring advanced clinical knowledge and a collaborative approach to complex care.

You are a transformational leader who inspires engagement and professional growth.

You have experience managing the operational demands of a clinical unit.

You are deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care for all families.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to 173,368 p.a. is comprised of:

A salary bewteen 139,951 to 151,949 p.a.

12.75% employer superannuation contribution

17.5% leave loading
