The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Manager to Risk plays a critical role in leading and evolving SBS's enterprise risk management framework. As a trusted adviser to leaders across the organisation, you'll help strengthen risk capability, support informed decision-making, and ensure SBS's risk management approach remains contemporary in a rapidly changing media landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and continuously improving SBS's enterprise risk management framework, policies and corporate risk register.
Partnering with leaders across the business to identify, assess and manage strategic and operational risks and opportunities.
Driving a positive risk culture by providing expert advice, training and establishing a risk community of practice.
Managing SBS's fraud and corruption control framework, business continuity program and insurance portfolio.
Preparing high-quality risk reporting and insights to support executive decision-making and organizational resilience.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, consulting or internal audit, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.
Strong knowledge of contemporary risk management frameworks, governance and business continuity practices.
Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across a complex organization.
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical business outcomes.
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement
