Office Administrator Required For a Construction Company in Pietermaritzburg, Advertised By Private, Job Type Contract, The role provides administrative support to the Operations and Client service team ensuring the effective and smooth running of the day to day operations, reporting directly to the director.

Responsibilities will include (but is not limited to): Quotes – Type, send and follow up. Jobs – Opening of jobs and allocating job numbers, making sure all paperwork submitted is accurate. Invoicing – Compiling a monthly invoicing register. Stock Control – All PPE/assets and office supplies. Vehicles – Weekly fuel report, booking services etc. Employees – Preparing contracts, booking medicals, capturing wages. Creditors/Debtors. Marketing – Searching a data base for current contracts in and around KZN. Safety – Working hand in hand with our SHE Officer. Dealing directly with clients and Suppliers. Logistix – Working hand in hand with the operations manager, supervisors and foreman. Answering switchboard. Develop and maintain a filing system. Attend to email queries. General office duties.

Our requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Office administrator. Excellent communication skills. A strong sense of self-motivation and a creative approach towards problem solving. Excellent communication skills (Well-spoken in English and Afrikaans). Only candidates with experience in full office function will be considered.

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00AM – 16:30PM Friday 07:00AM – 16:00PM
