E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for the definition alignment and execution of the groups e-commerce strategy The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a newly emerging E-Commerce team tasked with providing analytical insight to an array of e-commerce data obtained from the companies in-house booking systems measuring e-commerce activity Working as part of a small but dynamic team and within a relatively new but growing function you will be primarily responsible for – Developing plans to expand the usage of e-commerce by customers including product enhancement training of sales staff to promote the use of e-commerce and direct engagement with key customers who are potential e-commerce users – Lead the development of relevant e-commerce products and ensure that they remain at the leading edge of available products – Develop and update learning material related to Ecommerce to impart standardized knowledge across the group – Manage involvement with Ecommerce solution providers – Interact with key customers and agencies to ensure problem resolution and technical assistance is delivered in an efficient and timely manner – Monitor the levels of usage of the different e-commerce products against targets and adjust plans as necessary in order to reach targets – Provide input to sales strategy and technical solution enhancement in relation to e-commerce development
