Our client is looking for a young and vibrant Junior Accountant for their Johannesburg South branch.

Requirements: Completed Bcom Accounting degree, Honours degree will be advantageous. Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles. PLUS 2 years post articles experience (corporate environment). High level of numeracy. Advanced Excel practical experience. SAP or enterprise level ERP exposure. Analytical thinker. Solution seeker. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines. Methodical, passionate and Organized.

Problem analyzing and solving. Good communication skills on all levels Work well within a team and take responsibility for role. Stable working track record with contactable references.

Duties Include: GL recons. Monthly, quarterly, annual Management reporting. Accounting standards – GAAP/IFRS. GL maintenance. Asset maintenance. Branch support – AP/AR. Ad-hoc audit assignments. Vendor payments. Branch debtor reports and analysis. Monthly Vat. Annual audit support. Supervision of creditors and cash office. Business Intelligence support. Budgets and forecasts. Analyse financial information and prepare balance sheets, Income statement and provision sheets.
