World Corp Investments is a well-established property management company based in Durban. We are currently looking for an Assistant Building Manager with the following skills/experience:

Required Qualifications and Skills: Matric Certificate. Computer Literate (M/S word, M/S excel & One Drive). Good communication Skills. Organizational Skills. Time Management. Problem Solving Skills.

Job Responsibilities: Telephone and switchboard operation. Sorting & sending mails. Scheduling meetings and preparing agendas, minutes of meeting, meeting packs. File Management. Coordinating & consolidating general reports. General office support & assistance. Assisting in the monitoring of site staff and inventory. Supervising and participating in preventive maintenance of buildings, including floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, locks, fixtures and furniture, etc.

Supervising the performance of all employees and contractors on duty and maintaining the employer’s policies. Checking buildings and equipment, recording and reporting the repairs and replacements. Provide clear and complete documentation of all activities within the facility. Enforcing building and safety regulations, notifying relevant maintenance personnel when maintenance issues arises and communicating to staff and residents on various platforms thereof.

Assist with quotations and procurement. Assist with analysing, recording and submitting monthly expenses for the various sites. Attend to Municipal queries when required. Assist with tenders. Assist with Student Accommodation registrations and all other related matters. Assist with Drivers Schedule. Must be able to travel between sites within the Durban CBD area.
