Physiotherapy Assistant, operating as St. George’s Physiotherapy Clinic. Location: Toronto, ON. Salary: 34.07 hourly/40 hours per week. Full time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education Other trades certificate or diploma. Experience 5 years or more. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting. Responsibilities: Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Help physical therapists. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for reuse according to standardized safety practices. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain supplies. Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by the chiropractor. Maintain inventory of equipment. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments. Teach and/or supervise exercises for patients. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Experience and specialization. Computer and technology knowledge. MS Office.
