About the location

Our Essendon Fields location serves as both our manufacturing hub and head office, anchoring our strategic team and Modbotics operations.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounts Payable Officer will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of both accounts payable and payroll process assistance. You will work closely with our stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvements in the operations.

Your day-to-day will include:

Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoicing and liaising with the team to resolve discrepancies.

Monitoring and following up on outstanding purchase orders and reconciling corporate credit card transactions.

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations.

Supporting payroll processing, including entering timesheets and allowances, verifying hours, and processing leave and other relevant payroll applications.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $85,000

What you’ll bring

Diploma or higher qualification in accounting, finance, or a similar field, or at least a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll processing and accounts payable role, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and invoice recognition systems (Jobpac Connect, Maxisoft, or equivalent preferred).

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
