A little about the role
As a finance business partner, you will provide financial support, insights, and analysis to a portfolio of jurisdictions, supporting leaders in achieving financial and operational targets.
You will act as the bridge between the business and senior finance team members, providing support to both and seeking advice as required.
Some of the other key responsibilities include
Performing end-of-month activities, including journal preparation and posting, and transaction analysis.
Produce and distribute monthly management reports on time and to the highest standard with meaningful analysis, insights, and commentary on performance, trends, and key drivers.
Participate in meetings with assigned jurisdictions/departments, recording and distributing key discussion points and action items.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and timely and accurate invoicing, in line with funding agreements/contracts, accounting standards, and company policies.

The base salary for this position is $113,500 - $117,500 per annum (based on 1.0 EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is full-time and ongoing.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong ability to communicate and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people, as well as strong financial modeling capability and experience.
You will also come with:
Undergraduate qualification(s) in accounting, commerce, or business.
CPA/CA qualification within Australia.
Post-qualification experience in a similar role such as management accountant, finance manager, or finance analyst.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge on relevant legislation arising from the various Child Protection Legislation and government initiatives in Australia.
