This national commercial firm is seeking an experienced Banking and Finance Lawyer to join the Brisbane office at Associate or Senior Associate level.

Acting for non-bank lenders, overseas financiers and private capital, you will work across a broad mix of banking and transactional matters with exposure to complex deals and cross-border arrangements. This role offers genuine autonomy, direct client contact and the ability to contribute to the continued growth of the Brisbane practice.

Work will include:

Traditional loan facilities, debt/equity structures, security arrangements and non-bank lending

Cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions

Structuring, governance, and drafting tailored agreements (constitutions, shareholder agreements, trust deeds)

Business sales and acquisitions from negotiation through to completion

Senior candidates will also have scope to mentor juniors, drive client relationships and contribute to BD initiatives within a supportive national platform

About You:

Minimum 4 years’ PAE in Banking and Finance Law

Strong drafting and documentation skills

Ability to run matters with commercial judgement and confidence

Interest in building long-term client relationships

Collaborative mindset and willingness to support team growth.
